YAHKE Limitted is a registered UK company acting as an Employer of Record (EOR). We act as a Data Controller under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018 regarding the professional information you submit to us.
1. The Information We Collect
When you submit an unsolicited CV or profile to join our talent pool, we collect:
- Identity Data (Full name, contact details, country of residence).
- Professional Data (Employment history, skills, qualifications, certifications, and language capabilities).
- Any additional information contained within your uploaded CV or portfolio.
2. How and Why We Use Your Data
Our lawful basis for processing your data is Consent (Article 6(1)(a) of the UK GDPR). We use your information to:
- Assess your suitability for international employment opportunities within our network.
- Introduce your skills to prospective global employers via anonymized or “blinded” profiles (removing your name and direct contact info) before making a formal introduction.
3. International Data Transfers
Because we operate as an international EOR, the prospective employers we pitch to may be located outside the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area (EEA). If a prospective employer shows interest in your anonymized profile, we will explicitly contact you to obtain your specific permission before transferring your full, identifying CV to that international third party.
4. Data Retention Limits
We do not hold data longer than necessary. We will retain your CV and profile in our talent pool for a maximum period of 24 months from the date of submission. Prior to the expiry of this period, we may contact you to ask if you wish to remain in our pool. If you do not reply or opt out, your data will be permanently and securely deleted.
5. Your Rights Under UK GDPR
You have strict legal rights regarding your personal data. At any time, you can exercise your right to:
- Withdraw Consent: Request that we completely remove your CV and data from our pool.
- Access Your Data: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Rectification: Ask us to update or correct inaccurate details on your CV.
- Restriction or Erasure: Request that we restrict processing or delete your profile entirely.
